BS 8887-220:2010 “Design for Manufacture, Assembly, Disassembly and End-of-Life Treatment” certification: Why is it so important?

Our Greenline remanufactured printing equipment as well as our R-OEM and R-GEN toners and consumables are products committed to the environment and promote the circular economy. During the production and remanufacturing process, we save valuable resources, thanks to the reuse of materials in the highest possible percentage.

The Greenline printers and MFP´s are certified by BSI under the BS 8887-220:2010 Design for Manufacture, Assembly, Disassembly and End-of-Life Treatment standard.

This certificate is awarded by the British Standards Institution, and it guarantees that our Green Line remanufactured printing equipment, and its components (our R-GEN and R-OEM consumables) are of the same quality as an equivalent new equipment. In short, our printers, cartridges and components meet all the requirements of the remanufacturing process to convert a used product to a like-new product.

These machines and consumables are subjected to a rigorous remanufacturing process, with the aim of reintroducing them to the market with a “like new” user experience.

After selecting the best printing equipment, we completely disassemble, clean and/or replace any damaged or used parts, then reassemble the unit. At the end of the remanufacturing process, all equipment undergoes strict quality and print tests before being packed and shipped to the customer.

Greenline equipment fulfils a double objective: it is environmentally friendly because it is remanufactured using resources in a more sustainable way, while at the same time it represents a cost-effective solution by offering our quality guarantee, which ensures its durability and perfect operation.
