Green Line and used machines
1. What are the main differences between a Green Line and a second hand machine?
Green Line machines are fully refurbished inside and out for a new machine experience. They ship with 6 month warranty and have at least 70% of working life remaining.
Our affordable, second-hand Eco-Smart and Eco-Select machines are tested, in perfect working condition and their hard discs are reformatted
Their counter levels reflect that they are older, used machines. Their remaining life is unknown and consequently, they are sold without a warranty. The condition of these machines varies
2. What is the difference between Eco Select and Eco Smart machines?
Eco Select machines are premium quality second-hand machines. They are carefully tested, checked, cleaned, and packed. The quality of key components is thoroughly tested. Eco-Select machines have a longer remaining life and lower counters than Eco-Smart versions.
Eco Smart is our most affordable series of second-hand machines which are tested and in working condition
3. Which category of machines come with toner installed? How much toner is supplied with these machines?
Eco Smart machines are supplied with empty toner cartridges.
Eco Select machines’ toner cartridges are approximately 25% filled.
Green Line machines do not have any cartridges installed.
4. How are your machines packaged?
Green Line machines are packed professionally just like a new machine. They come in a Green Line branded outer box on a custom-made pallet and extra shipping locks and protection.
Eco Smart and Eco Select machines are also packaged on a pallet, without boxes. Boxed Eco Smart and Eco Select machines are available by special order. Please ask you GM Technology representative for further information
5. What is a Green Line machine and what configurations are available?
A Green Line machine is fully refurbished with original parts. Refurbishment includes the paper trays and document feeder. The cabinet is ultra-sonically cleaned, as well. The machine is supplied with a power cable, maintenance card and technical manual.
6. What documentation is included with Green Line and second hand machines?
7. When does the 6 month warrantee for Green Line machines commence?
The 6-month Green Line warranty starts when the good are received by the customer.
8. What do I do if I received a damaged or defective machine?
If the machine was damaged in transit, you should take pictures of the damage and make a claim on your carrier and/or insurers.
If the machine is defective, you should notify us within 7 days of receiving the machine. Please supply pictures and details of the problem you are experiencing with the machine.
9. What are the counter readings of the Green Line, Eco-Select and Eco Smart machines? Can I get the exact counter reading for each machine I buy?
Obviously, all machines will have different levels of usage and because of the fast turnover of our stock, it is not possible to provide the counter levels for every machine. Depending on the quality of machine you buy, the counters will be within the following ranges:
Green Line: All machines are below 200K (A3) and 100K (A4). All Green Line machine counters (except Lexmark) are lowered to zero.
Eco-Select: All machines with speeds up to 45 ppm will have counters below 400K. Machines with a speed above 45 ppm will have counters up to 800K.
Eco-Smart: Counters for machines in this category vary depending on the machine brand, model and condition. They can range for as low as 20K to over 800K.
10. What is the return policy?
Depending on the quality of the machines you have purchased, if your product is found to be defective GM may authorise its return, repair, or replacement at GM’s expense. Please contact GM for further information and instruction.

11. Can I get free shipping on machines?
Yes, Free shipping is a special condition which can be part of our offering. It can be negotiated individually on a case-by-case basis.
All products are usually supplied Ex Works Seville Spain. If you require shipping by any other means, please contact GM for further information as we may be able to offer you a competitive shipping rate.
12.Do I have to order a minimum quantity of machines?
There is no MOQ for any of our products, but we are a B2B company. The bigger the quantity purchased, the more competitive pricing and conditions can be obtained.
13. Can I get payment terms?
Our standard terms for products supplied Ex Works is 100% pre-payment with your signed Pro-Forma Invoice.
Other payment terms are as below.
Official GM partners can get preferential payment terms. Ask you GM representative for information.

14.Do you have official distributor programs? How can I become an Official Partner?
We have official partner/distributor programs for Green Line machines, R-OEM/GEN Remanufactured toners and, Remanufacturers. Ask your GM representative for details!
Toner and consumables
1. What is the difference between R-OEM, Remanufactured and Compatible toners?
Our “R-OEM” toners are comprised of:
- an original (OEM) toner powder which was reclaimed and reprocessed
- an original (OEM) remanufactured toner container
- an original (OEM) reset or new aftermarket chip (depending on model)
Remanufactured “GEN” toners use:
- Premium quality aftermarket toner powder
- an original (OEM) remanufactured toner container
- an original (OEM) reset or new aftermarket chip (depending on model)
Low-cost compatible toners use non-original containers, non-original chips and aftermarket toner powder. GM Technology does not provide compatible toners.
2. What brands are available in your range?
We can offer products for Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Canon, Xerox, Kyocera, Lexmark, Olivetti, Triumph Adler, Develop, Sharp.
3. Do your toners work the same way as OEM toners?
Yes “R-OEM” and “GEN” toners work the same way as OEM toners and their print quality and performance is comparable to the OEM too.
4. What yield do you guarantee and how do you test the yield of your toners?
We work according to international quality and management standards (ISO, DIN) to guarantee the highest quality. We guarantee at least the same page yield as OEM Toners with the same % of coverage. We test all our toners in our Green Line machines before they are placed on the market using strict ISO 19752/ 19798 and DIN 33870-1 and 33870-2 standard processes
5. How do you test the life and performance of your toners?
All our toners are tested using strict international ISO / DIN compliant procedures to industry standards.
6. Are your products traceable? Do you use bar or QR codes, or LOT numbers?
All our cartridges are fully traceable back to the production operator and material composition. All the product labels feature BAR/QR codes containing batch or lot numbers and employee references. This allows us to track any problems in seconds.
The product packaging is brand neutral.
7. Does your toner mix well with other toners in the machine when we switch suppliers?
We test our R-OEM and Remanufactured toners to ensure they mix perfectly with OEM toner powders and other high quality Japanese toner powders.
8.Does your toner wear components faster than OEM toners?
No. Components using GM toners such as drum units, fuser units, pumps, developer units or transfer belt units perform in the same way as when they are using OEM toners. We fully recommend using OEM components or high-quality remanufactured components. We do not recommend compatible parts.
9. What brand is on the toner packaging?
The product packaging is brand neutral.
10. What quality standards do you use when remanufacturing?
Our remanufacturing processes follow the guidelines and directives of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 19752, ISO 19798 and DIN 33870-1, DIN 33870-2.
We also work in accordance or the below directives and regulations in the EU:
- REACH
- ROHS
- WEEE
- CLP
11. Are you a member of any environmental associations?
GM Technology is member of ETIRA (European Toner and Inkjet Remanufacturers Association). We firmly believe in and defender the principles of the Circular Economy.
12. How many toners are on a palette?
It depends on packaging size and master boxes but the average on a standard 120cm x 80cm x 180cm Euro pallet is around 300 units.
13. Do you have special prices for distributors or distribution programs?
We have official partner/distributor programs for Green Line machines, R-OEM and Remanufactured toners and, Remanufacturers. Ask your GM representative for details!
14. Are your toners IP safe and do not infringe patents and trademarks?
Our “R-OEM” and “GEN” remanufactured toners are IP safe and do not infringe patents and trademarks.
15. What is your return policy?
If your product is found to be defective GM may authorise its return, repair, or replacement at GM’s expense. Please contact GM for further information and RMA instruction.

16. What is the defect rate for your toners?
Less than 0.1%of the toners we produce have a defect.
